It includes: - Brief Introductions (5-10 minutes): an overview of the topic and objectives. - Interactive Discussions (30-35 minutes): facilitated roundtable conversations and case studies, ensuring equal participation from onsite and online attendees. - Q&A and Wrap-Up (10-15 minutes): time for audience questions, live polls, and summarizing key takeaways. This structure ensures a dynamic, inclusive, and seamless experience for all participants, accommodating the hybrid format effectively.

Vulnerable groups, such as children and adolescents, require essential knowledge and skills to protect their personal data, critically analyze information and navigate digital environments safely. This session will explore initiatives aimed at enhancing digital literacy and fostering digital hygiene skills among the younger generation.
    Expected Outcomes
    Enhanced Understanding: participants will gain a deeper understanding of the digital threats faced by children and adolescents, along with practical strategies to mitigate these risks through improved digital literacy and hygiene practices. Actionable Insights: stakeholders will identify effective educational formats and tools to teach digital hygiene and literacy, ensuring these methods are accessible and engaging for younger audiences. Youth Engagement Strategies: participants will explore innovative ways to involve youth in co-designing digital literacy programs, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness.
    Hybrid Format: Facilitating Interaction: we will use a dedicated moderator to manage both onsite and online participation, ensuring seamless communication. Online tools like live polls, Q&A platforms, and chat features will allow remote attendees to ask questions and share ideas in real time. Onsite and online speakers will be given equal opportunities to contribute, with their inputs displayed on shared screens. Designing the Session: the session will be structured to include short presentations, interactive discussions, and breakout groups, with both physical and virtual participants grouped together. Visual aids, such as slides and live demonstrations, will be shared simultaneously with all attendees. Complementary Tools: we plan to use platforms like Mentimeter or Slido for live polling and Q&A, Zoom or Microsoft Teams for virtual participation, and Miro or Jamboard for collaborative brainstorming.
