Palwasha Mohammad Zai Khan

Senator Palwasha Mohammad Zai is a distinguished politician and a current Member of Senate of Pakistan, serving a Six-year term from 2021-2027. With a distinguished record in public service, Senator Palwasha was previously Member National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013. 

Sahar Albazar

Sahar Albazar is the Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee at the Egyptian Parliament. She was recently selected as the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee for the Majority Political Party. 

She is an Executive Board Member of the Parliamentarians for Global Action representing 150 countries. She is also the Chair of the Women Parliamentary Council for the Parliamentary network on the World Bank and IMF. Additionally, She is the former President of the IPU Forum of Young Parliamentarians.

Olga Skorokhodova

Olga is responsible for government affairs and public policy in a number of countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus. She also leads strategic AI policy engagement projects within the Emerging Markets team covering 100+ countries at Google. Prior to joining Google, Olga worked at an international consultancy firm advising international clients on a variety of government and public affairs topics.

Franz von Weizsäcker

Franz von Weizsäcker is heading the digital and economic portfolio of GIZ Office to the African Union, based in Addis Ababa. This includes the Data Governance in Africa Initiative, a multi-donor action funded by EU and five European member states, in support of implementing the African Union Data Governance Framework at continental, regional and national level. In his previous roles, Franz has been running the GIZ's innovation lab based in Berlin, sourcing tech startup innovations for sustainable development worldwide.

Shivanee Thapa Basnyat

Shivanee Thapa Basnyat is a Broadcaster of 18 years and holds a deep understanding of the media landscape in Nepal and the region. She is currently a Senior News Editor at Nepal Television. In her illustrious career in broadcast journalism, she has covered issues ranging from politics, foreign affairs, environment to sports.

Jordan Hadfield

LEGAT Hadfield entered on duty as a Special Agent (SA) of the FBI in 2012. In 2016, LEGAT Hadfield was transferred to the Major Case Coordination Unit in the Violent Crimes Against Children Section, where he worked International Child Exploitation investigations until 2019. In 2021, LEGAT Hadfield was named as the Unit Chief (UC) of the Child Exploitation Operational Unit (CEOU), where he led a team of 35 subject matter experts focused on identifying and rescuing children and investigating the world's most egregious offenders.

Sigbjørn Gjelsvik

Sigbjørn Gjelsvik is Norwegian Member of Parliament (Storting) representing the Centre Party. Born on March 30, 1974, in Naustdal, Sogn og Fjordane, he has been an active member of the Storting since 2017, representing the constituency of Akershus. 
Gjelsvik currently serves as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Transport and Communications, a position he has held since October 2023. His role involves overseeing matters related to transportation infrastructure, communication systems, and digital governance.

Brendan Dowling

Brendan was appointed as Australia’s Ambassador for Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology in May 2023. As Ambassador, he leads Australia’s international engagement on cyber affairs and critical technology issues, while delivering cyber capacity building, crisis response and building resilience across our region.

He has done extensive work on digital rights including access to information, affordable internet, internet shutdowns, cybersecurity, digital identity and ICT policy in Kenya and across the African Continent. He is also a youth engagement and policy advocacy expert where he has had extensive engagement on various regional and global processes, worked on various campaigns, involved in youth movement building working with various youth networks.

Lina Gálvez Muñoz

Lina Gálvez Muñoz is a Member of the European Parliament since July 2019, and Vice-President of The Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS), where she is Chair of FEPS Scientific Council since June 2023. In the EP, she is Chair of the Women's Rights and Gender Equality Committee, member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and Vice-chair of the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA). She also sits on the Committee on International Trade as substitute member.

Nighat Dad

Nighat Dad is a member of the Oversight Board and the founder and Executive Director of Digital Rights Foundation, a non-profit working on digital freedoms in Pakistan. Her work focuses on digital rights, particularly data protection, free speech online and online violence. She identifies as a feminist and works to empower women in the Global South through the use of digital technology. She is the recipient of the prestigious Human Rights Tulip Award. She is also a TED Fellow and one of TIME’s Next Generation Leaders.

Ihita Gangavarapu

Ihita Gangavarapu is a cybersecurity engineer who advocates for youth empowerment in internet governance. She is passionate about emerging technologies and addressing the challenges they bring, including digital inclusion. She coordinates India YIGF, recognized by UN IGF, which has empowered over 3,500 young people across India.

Auhoud Sultan AlShehail

Dr. Auhoud Sultan AlShehail possesses extensive academic and practical experience in communication, spanning both in public and private sectors. She was the chairperson of the Media Department at King Saud University and the advisor to the president of the University and the Spokesperson of King Saud University, where she directly supervised the formulation and implementation of the University media policy. subsequently, she was appointed as a member of the Shura Council, Dr.

Jehad Abdulla Alfadhel

Shuaib Afolabi Salisu

Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu is a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is the Chairman of Nigerian Senate Committee on ICT & Cybersecurity. He also chairs the West African Parliamentary Network on Internet Governance (WAPNIG). Before his current engagement as a member of the Nigerian National Assembly, he held leadership positions at the sub national level of government in Nigeria, particularly in the areas of ICT policy development and implementation.

Beckwith Burr

J. Beckwith (“Becky”) Burr is a partner at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis, LLP, a Washington, DC law firm. Her practice focuses on data protection, data governance, and cyber security. Prior to joining the firm, Becky was Neustar’s Deputy General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer. In that capacity, she was responsible for implementing the company’s “privacy by design” program, and ensuring that the company maintained state-of-the-art privacy and data security to protect customer and consumer information.

Mario Nobile

Mario Nobile, with a degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Transportation Engineering, has held various managerial roles in the field of urban planning, territorial planning, and information technology services, including broadband development programs in the territory.

In 2010, he joined the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, initially focusing on urban redevelopment programs and housing policies, before moving on to manage and maintain the real estate assets of central offices, support technologies, and logistical rationalization.

Rajnesh Singh

Rajnesh (Raj) is a technology industry thought leader and former serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in the Asia-Pacific and beyond. 

He has played founding and leading roles in several technology and private equity investment firms with significant experience in business management and strategy development, spanning diverse industries such as IT and telecommunications, power infrastructure, agriculture, and real estate. 

Cédric Wachholz

Cédric Wachholz, Chief of Section of UNESCO’s Digital Innovation and Transformation Section (CI/DIT), which includes multiple Artificial Intelligence (AI) work streams. UNESCO’s AI work focuses on the the human-rights and ethical dimension of AI and on the use of frontier technologies for attaining the UN Sustainable Development Goals, through advocacy, capacity- and public policy development.

Pamela Calleti

Pamela Calletti is a Lawyer from the Catholic University of Salta, with a Master's Degree in Administrative Law. She earned her Diploma in Gender and Justice.

She was the Minister of Justice of Salta from December 2013 to December 2015 and the Minister of Human Rights and Justice of Salta from December 2015 to December 2017. She was then the State Prosecutor of Salta from December 2017 to December 2019 and the Legal Consultant to the Governor from December 2019 to December 2021.
